HPW – Hot Process Water unit

Not just hot water

Warm (process) water is more vulnerable to microbiology than you think! Did you know that up to 60ºC microorganisms can grow? You can think of bacteria, fungi and yeasts.

These organisms thrive at a temperature between 20-50ºC. Above this temperature, growth slows down and above a temperature of 60-65ºC, a large part is killed.

To be absolutely sure, the system can perform a “heat sterilisation”, in which the entire installation is heated to a temperature of 95ºC.

Keep it into flow!

It is important that the water continues to move sufficiently. A turbulent flow prevents the deposition of microorganisms, and it also ensures that you have water of the right temperature everywhere. The design of the piping system must be done in accordance with the “snake”, so that all pipe sections are flowed through and there are no dead pieces. This gives you maximum security.

Efficient and accurate

Hot process water is required in many production processes.The HPW achieves this in an efficient and safe manner.  Through advanced pressure and temperature control, the pressure and temperature of the process water can be controlled very accurately. In this way, your production process is assured of hot process water of correct specifications.  There is also a possibility to preheat the hot process water with residual heat that you have available in your factory.

Versions

The HPW is modular, so it can be assembled according to your requirements and wishes. The HPW also has various buffer capacities at its disposal, so that it perfectly meets your specific needs.

The HPW is standard equipped with a “heat sanitisation” step, in which the entire system is sterilised.
