How can it happen?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Product recalls are of course killing for the store, the producer and consumer confidence. Therefore, there is a high demand for cleaning systems (CIP units) that increase food safety.<br \/>\n<strong>But that maximum security with CIP requires quite a bit of expertise.<\/strong> What do you need to think about? For example, how do you prevent those metal particles? (Spoiler alert: look at point 4 \ud83d\ude0a )<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A good CIP program is tailored to that one process installation. It is crucial that all surfaces are easily accessible. Leftover walnut-honey-yogurt in the straciatella yogurt? Not done for someone with a nut allergy!<\/li>\n<li>The required cleaning product must not only be tailored to the type of dirt, but also to the material of the equipment and pipes. This will prevent damage to the installation.<\/li>\n<li>Check check double check! Through hygiene monitoring and validation, you can be sure of thorough cleaning and disinfection.\u00a0This can be done through visual inspection, microbiological tests, or chemical analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Last but not least, because this point caused the recall of, among others, our main character Spinach: regular and correct maintenance. Timely replacement of worn parts, cleaning of pipes, testing CIP performance&#8230; It sounds obvious, <strong>but unfortunately current events prove how often it is forgotten and how necessary it is.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fluidz.nl\/en\/the-essence-of-cip-cleaning\/\">cleaning of your plant in the liquid food industry<\/a> a challenge?
