What questions should I ask myself?
Does your current CIP system still clean enough to meet the current, strict requirements? Does your cleaning method fit in with your new product line/production method? Or do you want to make your existing installation suitable for CIP cleaning? After our inventory, you will know how you are doing.
Our CIP systems guarantee cleaning and sterilization in a minimum time with maximum results, where safety is essential.
- Factors that determine the effectiveness of CIP cleaning
- Time How long does each cleaning step take for best results?
- Temperature At what temperature does cleaning take place optimally?
- Mechanical work How much force does the water need to clean as well as possible?
- Chemicals (cleaning agents) Which detergent is the best choice in which concentration?
Cleaning program
The following steps in the cleaning program are possible:
- Pre-rinsing
- Lye phase
- Intermediate rinsing
- Acid phase
- Rinse
- Disinfection (optional)
Ideally, all steps are secured fully automatically in the CIP system. This way you are assured of a well-cleaned installation, without residue of the cleaning agent.
What else do I need to take into account?
A CIP set never comes alone! Purchasing a CIP kit is the first step in CIP cleaning. In addition to the CIP set, your objects and lines must be made suitable for CIP cleaning and contamination risks must be considered.
