M-CIP vs E-CIP

What is the difference between the M-CIP and the E-CIP?

The M-CIP is a fully automatic mobile CIP set with automatic logging function. The E-CIP is a semi-automatic basic mobile CIP set. Where the M-CIP performs the cleaning fully automatically without the intervention of the operator, the E-CIP does require an operator who physically performs actions during the cleaning.

Does the cleaning differ between an M-CIP and the E-CIP?

No, the cleaning is completely the same.

Can I use the M-CIP CIP to create and manage recipes?

Yes, the M-CIP has 10 pieces of operator-adjustable CIP recipes as standard, optionally you can order multiple recipes.

Can I use the E-CIP CIP to create and manage recipes?

No, the E-CIP does not have a prescription module. The operator can set the desired cleaning for each cleaning. If you want to work on a prescription basis, the M-CIP is a better choice.

Can the cleanings of the M-CIP and the E-CIP be validated?

The cleanings of the M-CIP can be fully validated, the cleanings are carried out fully automatically.

The cleanings of the E-CIP cannot be fully validated because the operator performs various actions during the cleaning.

When do I choose an M-CIP?

If you are looking for a fully automatic mobile CIP system, you want to clean on a prescription basis and/or you are looking for CIP logging.

Do I need a CIP return pump for an M-CIP?

If you want to clean a tank or a reactor, you need a separate CIP return pump. This is available as an option.

Do I need a CIP return pump for an E-CIP?
